New Cutter

I just put a payment in for a layaway for a Gazzle cutter. I am not pleased that I will not be able to use MTC to cut to the new E2 when it comes out. I really want a cutter that will cut wider than my silhouette. I really love cutting all my svg files. I am also seriously thinking about getting the Pazzle cutter. They have a great deal going on right now. But I need to wait till next Friday to look into it. LOL I love electronic gadgets!!!!!

More recipe cards

Here are a few more of my completed recipe cards. Hope you are enjoying seeing them.

I have decided to put away my recipe card making stuff as I do not want to get burnt out on it. I have been downloading free decoupage sheets that I can use with my silhouette to print and cut. Then I will use them on cards that I make. I have a box and a half of cards that I have made. I am saving them to hopfully be able to sell at some bazzaars when I get back state side. We have a little over a year left before we move back. This time next year we will be talking about packing and moving.
On a side note, my Grandad's wife passed away last Sunday. If you have been reading my blog you will remember that I said she was not a very nice person and that she had to pass away before any of the family could get any of the bequests from my Grandad's will. So now maybe that can finally happen. I do not want to sound mean or money grabbing but she was not a very nice person at all. She made my Grandad's life hell.

Blog Update

Well, as you can tell I finally updated my blog from the Christmas style. LOL
I thought it was about time, since it is St. Patty's day today.
Not much been going on around here. Hubby just arrived home from work and gave me a really sweet card with a cadbury's Carmel chocolate bar. He said he was looking for the Cadbury's Easter Eggs that come out this time of year. They are my weakness. But we have not been able to find any.

I am working on a set of 3 cookbooks that I am going to give my kids and one to my Mom for Mother's Day. I will attach some photos of some of the pages I have done. I will slowly add the pages over the next few days, as I have over 20 pages done. Hope you like them and I would love to hear your comments. I used my Imagine, my baby bug, and my Silhouette to make some of the die cuts. And the rest is from my stash.

long time

Hey there. Yeah I know it has been awhile since I last posted. I have been working on a cookbook project. I am making a 6 X 6 cookbook for both my sons and my Mom. I have 8 different recipes done so far. I will get some photos of them in the next day or so.
I am really looking forward to being able to use the new Cricut craftroom software. It looks like it will be fun to use. I am also waiting for the new E2. I really am not enjoying using my ecraft. I will probably sell it when we get back to the US. I thought that it would be nice to not have to use a mat but I have wasted so many sheets of paper trying to get the cut settings correct. Right now it is just sitting on my table hidden under a tea towel and junk. hahaha
