Long Time No Post!

Wow! I did not realise it has been such a long time since I last posted. Sorry. I have been working some horendous hours 8 1/2-9 1/2 hour days. I have not gotten much time to scrap and my poor scrap room is looking a HUGE mess. I had forgotten how much I HATE standing on my feet all day. I usually come home with very sore feet. LOL UGH!
I did get my cell phone and Chris's ordered. I got the pink palm centro and Chris got a black blackberry. Geeze cell phone plans are not cheap. Both mine and Chris will run about $150 a month! lol but I wanted to get unlimited text and gps on mine. So I had to pay extra.

I GOT IT!!!!

Hey I got the job! I am sooooo thrilled! I start on Monday. I will be the assistant manager of a Rite Aid here in town. I will be working 45 hrs a week to start off with for about 8 weeks or so. Then I will move to 50 hrs a week and salaried instead of hourly.

I will now have money to buy scrappin supplies....just not the time to use them :-( I think I am going to have to start staying up late! LOL And I am not a night time person. Ugh!

Just took puppy to the groomers. He needed a bath and a trim! Poor guy could not see out of the fur in front of his eyes! LOL He was all shaggy looking. I will post a pic when I get back from picking him up. They usually put a pom pom in his hair. hahaha :-)

Made it!

Well, we made it through hurricane Gustav. Had no damage. Just a lot of wind and RAIN! I had to empty the pool 3 times! LOL Well...not empty to lower the level. And by the time it was done the water was a icky green color and full of debris. Yuck! I have just gotten it cleared up. Just in time for Ike! Geeze! It has been nice the past few days. Dave and Chris were even able to get out and get all the grass mowed. While Chris was raking the clippings he came across a 3'long snakeskin! Good Grief! Not fun! But kinda cool.
Saturday I went scrapshopping with a friend of mine that lives about an hour up the road. I took Chris with me and he hung out with her daughter. She is a year older than he is and has also finished school last year. She is starting her first year in college in the nursing program. I think they are sweet on each other. LOL I had a really good time with her. She has a really pretty house. I managed to spend wayyyy too much. But I have just recently gotten into card making and I have used a bunch of the new supplies making cards yesterday. I got 25 cards made. I will post a photo of them each on here.
I am sitting on pins and needles hoping I get that Assistant Manager Position here with Rite Aid. I sure would like it. But it would be working 50 hrs a week. So there goes my scrappin time! But I would have money to buy all my wish list stuff!

Still Raining!

hahaha It is still raining! Yuck! It is only a light mist but still yuck.
I completed two pages last night. They were photos hubby took during our last few days living in Hawaii the summer of 1997. Wow! I was much slimmer then! LOL

I used my PDDU and SB carts to make this. I also used some skittles on the flowers.
I have to make a trip to the PO to get some fabric in the mail. I want to give Rite Aid a call to find out about the interview I did a couple of weeks ago for a assistant manager position.

Rainy Day!

We have had nothing but rain today thanks to Fay! LOL So I have spent the day cleaning! Yuck! First started out in the garage and the attic since it was cooler. Did not get it all done but got a good portion done. Sorted out a bunch of stuff to put up for sale on ebay. Mostly fabric and craft stuff. Then moved on to my scrap room. Sorted out my clear stamps. I bought a bunch of clear cd cases and put them all in there. Just need to make labels for each case. I also made a ribbon storage out of a old clear plastic make up case. Did not want to spend the money on a Pull Ez. So made my own. Wow! Did not realise I had sooo much ribbon. I have too much for just one case. So going to have to buy another so I can finish that up. Cleaned up my desk and I can acutally see the top of it! hahaha. Need to sort out my card stock and my paper scraps then I will be done with that. Got a lot done today! Now I might feel inclined to do some scrapping or stamping! hahaha Hate doing any crafts when my room is a mess. Can not find anything.

My first post!

Ok here goes! This is my very first post. Hmmm...what should I say? I could post some of my cards I have made recently....I need to first figure out how to make a slide show of them...

I am going up to Jackson with hubby tomorrow. Yippie! He has to go to the dentist. Before he goes he is dropping me off at Micheal's. I have a coupon so I am going to fill my basket. I am also going to try to talk him into taking me to Hobby Lobby! LOL I just hope that his dental work is not going to be too painful for him.
