Itchy,red face

Ugh!!!! I finally gave up. My poor face is so red it looks like I have a sunburn. And it is all over my face. It itches like a thousand red ants are attacking it!!!! And if I do not keep baby oil on it, it looks like alligator skin. I made an appointment for me to go into the docs on Thursday. It is driving me nuts! I have tried using hydrocortisone cream to help with the itch and it helps a tiny bit. But is still driving me bonkers. It just feels like my face is a mask. I have never had much trouble with my skin except for the occasional break out. Grrrrrrr!!!! Anyone want to trade faces??? lol

I did manage to get three scrap pages done. They turned out really nice. I use the paper by making memories called blue awning. Sure wish I could post pics of them. I will once my new pc gets here.

Interview

Well, we kinda got some good news. Hubby has been applying for jobs for over a year and half and has never had a interview. He had a email in his box at work this morning saying that someone would like to set up a interview with him for next week sometime. The job is in Alexandria VA. It would also give him a grade increase from a GS12 to a GS14. He can do that because he has had job experience at the 13 level already. It would get us back to the US and him back on the career track. While we are here in Germany that is going no where......FAST! lol So I have been sitting here searching for homes in that area. To find something like we are looking at though he would end up having to do a hour or more commute. Yuck! I have not looked to see what kind of Scrapbooking stuff is out there yet. But the one bad thing is that VA gets WINTER!!!! lol

ADD

I have been diagnosed with ADD for years now. It is not fun!!! I am just getting so fed up with it. I still can not seem to concentrate even with the meds I am on. It takes me forever to get a scrap page layout done. As much as I want to sit and play I can not seem to. I keep hoping up and doing something else or just procrastinate (sp). I am just fed up with it!!! I really wish I could be like a normal person and get stuff done. My doc recently changed the meds I am on to a stronger variety and it does not seem to have helped at all. And this crap is not cheap! I keep putting off contacting my health insurance about filing over a years worth of med and pharmacy bills. Right now we pay them all out of pocket and then we are supposed to file them with the insurance and they will reimburse us (if the meds are on their approved list). I am just not sure what to do. I hate not being able to get stuff done. Right now I know I have laundry in both the dryer and washer and it has been there since yesterday afternoon. Ugh. This is so frustrating. Does anyone else have ADD?

New PC

Well my pc finally gave up the ghost the other day. Ugh. But I did manage to get everything saved off, I think. Dave also told me to go ahead and order a new one. Yippie!!! So I did and it is in shipment now. Hoping it will be here next week. This one should be faster. It has a much better processor and much much more ram!! It will also have a 1tb hard drive. I still need to buy a new copy of office 2010 so I can update my outlook and such. But I am thrilled!!!!
I also found out that my ecraft cutter will be updating the software package in the next day or so. Also that they are also working with Make the Cut and Sure Cuts A lot software packages as well. So it will soon be compatible with them. I am REALLY thrilled about that!!!! My ecraft has been sitting unused on my counter for months and months waiting for new updated software. Ugh! Now I might even be able to start using it.

Dry Skin

My face is so itchy. I have just started seeing dry, irritated, itchy patches on my face. It is also starting to spread. Yuck. It right above my eyebrows, down the right hand side of my face by my eye and into my hairline, also on each side of my nose and some on my cheek bones. It just feels so dry and tight. I am starting to kinda worry. I keep trying to keep lotion on my face. I apply it quite a few times during the day but it does not seem to help much. Ugh!

Not feeling good

Yuck! I am just feeling mungy. I have no energy and my throat is starting to hurt. No fun, hope I am not getting sick. Hope it is just me being a hypochondriac. lol Guess I will just curl up on the couch with my iPad, and read a book. I am hungry but not sure what for. ICE CREAM!!!! Dyer's mint chocolate chip. Yum! Or dairy queen. But darn, I can not get that here. RatS!!!!

My Points

I have been shopping thru a site called my points to try and get a bunch of gift cards to help offset the cost of a new pc. I think the new pc I am looking at buying will cost around $700. I have enough points saved up right now to get a gift certificate for $50.00 And I have about $250.00 in cash saved up as well. So I am nearly halfway there. But I will continue to do any of my online shopping thru there to try to get more gift certificates. How ever much I can get will help.

computer

Grrrrrrr....my desktop pc is dying. The card reader does not work anymore. One of my memory sticks is dead and the hard drive is acting screwy. I can not upload photos of any of my projects cause it will not read the card I take out of my computer. Wahhhh..... I have a few new projects to show you as well. I have been working on a bunch of new cards. I forgot to send my Dad a card for his bday. And he only received one card from anyone. So I sat and made him four different cards and put one in the mail each day this week. I felt so bad for him. They turned out really cute. So I took a couple of pics of them. Plus I had been working on some cards for a card swap I am in so I wanted to show everyone what I made.
All our snow had disappeared completely finally. I even had the doors and windows open this past weekend, it was so nice. But it started snowing again yesterday afternoon and last night. We did not get much but everything is back to being all white and frosty. lol Guess we are not having a early spring. :-( lol

I know I have been a bad girl. I have not posted in a while. But I finally have a few projects done and can show you.

We finally got rid of our 2' of snow. All that is left is a few small, dirty piles of ice. It is now raining and grey. Ick!
I finally got around to buying a copy of Paintshop Pro 9. It is a neat program. I have lots to learn. Been watching a bunch of youtube videos on it. I also just ordered a OTT light. I hope if I plug it into a transformer I can it over here. This room is lighted horribly.
